The result is MPACT: Meaningful Projects and Community Transformation. A marketing faculty-led, student-powered consulting initiative focused on helping mission-driven organizations identify opportunities for meaningful social change.
Or to put it more simply, a transformative, VT-imbedded internship experience that embodies the spirit of Ut Prosim for the Pamplin+ student.
Through hands-on experiential learning, MPACT students collaborate to research challenges, ideate solutions, develop sales and marketing plans, and support initiatives designed to create lasting impact in communities around the world.
Along the way, they gain the kind of real-world experience and interpersonal power skills that today’s business environment demands: strategic thinking, empathy, communication and community-building skills, creative problem solving, and the ability to turn ideas into action. All while earning course credit that works towards their degree.
